Aliah is a Certified Medical Assistant and a Birth Assistant. She was introduced into the midwifery life from the second she was born, as she was born at the original Columbia Birth Center in Kennewick with Midwife Cynthia! Aliah has always loved to help mothers and babies, and has worked as a nanny since she was 13 years old. After being involved in her best friend’s birth and graduating Medical Assisting school, she knew that the next step for her was to start birth work.  

Aliah has a passion for making connections with our patients and truly getting to know them before, during, and after birth. She takes pride in making people smile and making them feel comfort and love at the birth center. When not at the birth center loving on your babies, Aliah enjoys spending time reading, continuously learning, doing puzzles, hiking, and snowboarding, along with spending time with her family and friends (and their babies).  

Aliah believes that birth is an impressive celebration and yet it should be spent in a calm, loving, and supportive space. She hopes to continue her education into the field of midwifery to continue to be a resource for women in our community!
